Himanshi & Vaibhav’s Wedding

Posted by Dipesh Gupta on

Himanshi is the Owner of Ricco. With years of working with Brides, she knew what she wanted for her different looks at the wedding events. Vaibhav and Himanshi worked together religiously and gave attention to even the smallest details for all their wedding functions

Story:
Vaibhav and Himanshi met for the First time for Pizza at Leo’s (being Vaibhav’s favourite). Turned out, Himanshi loved pizza as much as he did and they both knew it right after the first meeting that they’ve found their life partners.
Vaibhav popped the Question on Himanshi’s birthday with a ring with engraving ‘My Boo’ and that was the beginning of their forever after.
Himanshi being the owner of a clothing brand, was overloaded with ideas and found herself extremely confused. But Vaibhav was quick to help her out at all times. They both came up with the designs of outfits for each function together writing down everything they both wanted and blending them together.
Pre wedding puja 1-
Himanshi wore a champagne gold sparkle lehenga with gold Resham and sequins work. The lehenga blouse has gold bead work and crystal tassels. On the other hand Vaibhav wore a sequins work Aztec embroidery Black bandgala blazer with black kurta and white pants.

Pre wedding puja 2-
For this occasion Himanshi chose to wear a pistachio green Anarkali for a traditional event which was embroidered with pearls, emerald green crystals and gold beads.
Vaibhav chose a pistachio green Indowestern sherwani with emerald green suede shawl with intricate embroidery to match Himanshi’s outfit.

Sagan ceremony
-
Himanshi gave special attention to this look for her Engagement ceremony and created a beautiful Wine Suede lehenga with intricate Swarovski Crystal work and blue sequins work to compliment the blue beaded sherwani for Vaibhav.
Himanshi’s lehenga has pink swan pairs all across made from Feathers. It also has ‘VH’ embroidered on every kali.
Vaibhav’s sherwani has an Aztec embroidery pattern created from the letters ‘v’ and ‘H’ by the couple. The sherwani is embroidered with grey and blue glass beads.

GOA WEDDING FUNCTIONS
Mehendi-

Keeping it fun and vibrant in the beautiful beach resort and breezy weather, Himanshi wore a neon green lehenga with neon beads embroidery with a aqua blue dupatta. Vaibhav wore a coordinated neon green beadwork waist coat and aqua kurta pyjama. The decor of the event went stunningly well with the couples beautiful outfits.

Cocktail night-
Matching bomber jackets for the Bride and Groom!!
Himanshi wore a blue sequins work lehenga with colorful sequins to compliment the bomber jacket. While Vaibhav let the jacket do all the talking!

While Vaibhav kept it simple and elegant with a Pastel blue crisp kurta pyjama.

Wedding:
Himanshi’s lehenga was designed based on a conversation the two had trying to finalise the design over a dinner date. Himanshi described her wanting a lehenga which reflects happiness, prettiness and all things positive, just the way Vaibhav’s presence in her life makes her feel.
Vaibhav narrowed it down to how beautiful everything gets when it rains and the peacock comes out on a flower garden. And that’s the exact scenery on her lehenga.

Her blouse even has a personal message saying “Vaibhav, you are the sunshine to my rain”
And hence she made her dupatta in the colours of the rainbow that comes out in the sky after the rain.

The Bride’s maid of honour was her Neice who wore a mini version of her exact same lehenga. Even the same mini kaleeras and walked her down the aisle as well.

The groom on the other hand, wore a crisp green sherwani designed by Himanshi with intricate glass bead embroidery and pink stole with the border pattern created out of ‘VH’

The wedding was set up on the beach as a sundowner wedding planned by the two to last from before, during and after the sunset.

The groom entered the venue on an ATV instead of a Ghodi.
